Tutorials: Completing Your Website Project
- In the Developer's Portal (not your new site) — click "Home" to return to the page shown in Figure I. The "Home" button can be found in the top right corner of all portal pages.
- Click "Sites & Orders", and wait a moment for the page to load.
- As long as you did not get ahead of me in the last stage of this process, you should see a small progress bar and a "Build" link next to your project (see Figure II).
- Click "Build".
- Now you should see the page shown in Figure III. Click "Begin".
- Tick the two boxes at the bottom of the page and click "Finish".
Discussion
If this project had been assigned to one of your registered clients when it was first created — that client would receive an e-mail containing all the information they need to access their new site management features.
At this point the site is "under construction". When the owner of the site is happy with their content, they will e-mail you asking that the construction page be removed.
- From the Developer's Portal, click "Sites & Orders".
- Beside your demo site, click "Configure" and the page in Figure IV will load.
- Near the bottom of the page there is a drop-down list. Change it to "Live" and then click "Save Changes".

The pure basics have been covered in this tutorial, the other tutorials are very important. In those tutorials, you will learn navigation schemes for large scale web projects (and firms with communication departments). You will also learn how to build templates that allow site editors to switch between page layouts (design templates) without loosing any content. You can use the Toolbar Usage Tutorials drop-down to proceed.
